PTT Field Communication Company
Partner brief · East Africa field comms
You are invited to back a 90-day field proof — so crews who already carry Android phones can hold-to-talk like a radio when the tower path is weak.
Field teams in mining, utilities, and site ops still need push-to-talk. Licenced radios work, but they are a second fleet. Phones are already on the belt — yet most PTT apps fail when the cloud path drops.
RADIO OS turns those phones into a radio face: hold to talk, English and Swahili, provisioned by IT. Talk can use the internet when it is up, the site LAN, or the same Wi‑Fi without a broker — including a short software relay on that Wi‑Fi for nearby crews.
Your role is not to fund a slide deck. It is to put real devices and one field day behind a product that is already running in software.
With your support in the next 90 days, we close two proofs that unlock pilots:
The working app is ready for that proof. What is missing is your kit, site access, or validation budget.
If you can put hardware or a site behind this, that is the highest-leverage support. Cash is welcome when devices or a pilot environment are not available as support.
Suggested support range: USD 8,000–25,000 for devices, lab time, and one field day. Released in steps as you see each proof:
| After you see | Proof | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Site-talk proof | A heard on C through a middle phone, Wi‑Fi only | 40% |
| Boot-as-radio proof | Reboot lands on RADIO OS as the home radio face | 35% |
| Field note | Two-page pass/fail summary + device identity example | 25% |
We are open to pre-seed / seed conversations with partners who care about East Africa, industrial operations, or software that keeps field teams talking. Warm intros to a pilot site or rugged-device channel are as valuable as a cheque.
Suggested next step for you: a 20-minute fit call, then a live demo on real phones. If the thesis fits, we align on the 90-day validation path together.
Tell us how you want to help. We will follow up at the email you provide.
